Custom Works CW#1
This is the first custom creation by Sitarsencat, for one of our elder customers. The sitar is a hybrid: Ravi Shankar look but setted as Vilayat Khan style (6 main strings).
Inspired in our “Makara” but with a different headstock design of floral motives like in our Yamuna.
Pay attention at the mother of pearl inlay by www.luthiersupply.com, an “Om” at the top of the neck, and the penwork at the tabli, personally designed by the customer himself.
