Naskar sitar 1970

This sitar build by Naskar at the end of the 70's has been recently adjusted by us and it is now available for sell.

This instrument is made of high grade tunwood and it has a great potential. Its carvings are very deep and detailed, in addition, the exquisite penwork is extremely detailed.

This beauty has a balanced sound: great sustain, volume and taraf response....5 notes pulling range! Furthermore it is an extremely comfortable instrument to play thanks to its thinner neck which will literally "make you fly" when playing fast compositions.

The instrument is a 7 strings sitar Ravi Shankar style with a half open jawari.

Since the original tumba is missing you will be getting this instrument in a cool/disounted  price.
